Terms of Service

Last updated October 1, 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of AnalyticsFF ("we", "us"): the website at analyticsff.com, the event and replay endpoints, the API and the MCP server. By creating an account or using any of them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use AnalyticsFF for a company or other organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. You must be 18 or older to hold an account.

2. The service and the open source packages

AnalyticsFF stores events, session replays and deploys sent from your apps and CI, and lets you query them through dashboards, the API and AI assistants.

The SDK, CLI and MCP packages are open source under the MIT License, which governs their code. These terms govern the hosted service they send data to.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them current.
  • Keep your secret keys (sk_) and sign-in details private. Project keys (pk_) are meant to appear in browser code and only allow sending events.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account and keys.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.

4. Plans, trial and billing

  • Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Every plan starts with a 14 day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.
  • After the trial, plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices do not include taxes, which are added where the law requires.
  • Plans are sized by monthly visitors: each different person recorded in a calendar month. Going over never stops recording. If you stay over your plan's limit for a whole month, we move you to the plan that fits and tell you before the new price is charged.
  • You can switch plans or cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next bill.
  • Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before raising the price of your plan.
  • If a payment fails and is not fixed, we may suspend the account until it is paid.

5. Your data

The data you and your apps send to AnalyticsFF stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it.

6. What you send us

You are responsible for the data your apps send, and you agree to:

  • Tell your visitors what you record, and get their consent where the law requires it.
  • Not send passwords, payment card numbers, government id numbers, health information, or other especially sensitive data. Session replays record visible page text, and form fields too if you turn that on, so hide pages, elements or fields that show such data with ff-mask or ff-block.
  • Not use AnalyticsFF on sites or apps aimed at children under 13.
  • Have the right to send us everything you send.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use AnalyticsFF for anything illegal, or to record people without a lawful basis.
  • Try to get into accounts, projects or data that are not yours, or test the security of the service without our written permission.
  • Overload the service, or work around plan limits or rate limits.
  • Send malware, or use custom dashboard tiles to attack the people who view them.
  • Resell or rent access to the hosted service without our written permission.

8. AI assistants

When you connect an AI assistant to AnalyticsFF, it acts with your account's access: it can read your projects' data, run queries, and create, change or delete dashboards. You are responsible for what it does. Data it reads is handled by its provider under that provider's terms. Answers from AI assistants can be wrong, so check anything you rely on.

9. Changes to the service

We are always changing AnalyticsFF. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will try to tell you in advance.

10. Cancelling and suspension

You can cancel at any time. To close your account entirely, email geoff@marketbyorder.com. You can query and copy your data through the API before you go. We delete your data within 30 days of the account closing.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

11. No warranty

AnalyticsFF is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every event sent will be recorded, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

12. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about AnalyticsFF is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Claims about your data

If someone brings a claim against us because of data you sent or the way you used AnalyticsFF in breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

14. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using AnalyticsFF after that means you accept the new terms.
